    The fashion market is only open on a saturday and is a fantastic part time money maker!

    As it is a double stall you can choose to use both or do what i have been doing which is renting one and using one, the rental market is very profitable and i’ve found that renting out one covers the costs for both and leaves money in my pocket!

    Amazing opportunity to make at least £300-700 per week and as the fashion district is only open on a Saturday is a great part time venture.

    Dear Gaby – unfortunately the council changed the licensing laws some time back and it is now no longer possible to rent out a stall. The only way to get a rental stall is to queue up with the casuals on a Saturday morning. Be wary of anyone who says they will/can rent you a stall as this is probably a scam and is definitely illegal. Best, Lisa.

    Luis – if you get there at around 7am you will be in with a chance to rent one of the council stalls. It’s first come first served and you have no guarantee of where your pitch will be, or even if you will get one, so it’s a lot of hassle. You also need to make sure your goods for sale comply with the market rules.

The area is renowned for vintage clothing, vintage-style items, new designers, and interiors. Also home to the famous Brick Lane Market & Spitalfields Market!

    The area available is a 5ft rail which has a single 5′ shelf above (good for shoes, bags, jewellery, etc) and the 5′ long floor space underneath the rail (also good for small items). It’s available to either a vintage clothing dealer selling women’s vintage clothing / accessories items, or an independent designer with womens wear products that will fit in with our shop (must be unique and have flair!).

    Rent includes staffing during our opening hours which are presently Weds-Sun 11am-5:30pm, and these are changed according to seasonal demand (in summer we stay open until 7pm!). There is a HIGH VOLUME of passing trade on Sunday due to the famous market on Brick Lane which attracts many tourists and Londoners, as well as Saturday since we are near to Columbia Road Flower Market and many cool coffee shops, bars, galleries, etc.

    Rent is a very low £125 per week and includes staff, minimum 3month contract required, and deposit of two weeks rent upfront in addition to first month’s rent upfront. A market stall in Brick Lane on one single weekend day costs around this figure, and this rate is for 5 trading days without the hassles of setting up at a market and great staff! A small section of storage space in the basement can also be arranged, and we also have a full working sewing area downstairs with industrial sewing machine and cutting table, sewing mannequin, etc which you are welcomed to use for alterations or repairs only (not production of garments!).
